We are so excited to announce we are now affiliated with The Fitness Caddy! Shawn Farmer is a true leader in Women’s Golf Fitness and is now an advisor to the Golf Belles and our acting Chief Fitness Belle!

A Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Level 3 Certified Golf Fitness Professional who also holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from Eastern Washington University. Her love of golf has taken her from competing in local junior events to playing all over the country in college. Over the years she has won two Sahalee Women’s Club Championships, competed in two Albertsons Cups, been a Big Sky All Conference Player, won a Washington State Women’s Golf Association State Championship and also represented Eastern Washington University at the NCAA Leadership Conference.

Shawn has loved being active her entire life, but her fitness career stemmed from winter workouts in college where she realized there had to be a better, more specific way to train for golf and decrease the risk of injury. She interned with several strength coaches learning everything possible about sports specific training. This lead to her scoring average dropping 6 strokes and her handicap going from a 5 to a 1 her senior year. Shawn has since honed her skills as a personal trainer and now works with golfers of all ability levels on improving their performance on the course through functional workouts. In addition to her golf performance business, Shawn also coaches the Girls Varsity Golf Team at The Overlake School where they have won two league titles and a 1A State Championship in her four years there.

In her free time, she loves training for a ½ marathon each year, plays flag football every week and also rides her two appaloosa horses. But at the end of the day, there is nothing she loves more than hitting the links and pushing her golf game to new levels.

Check out her blog to see the latest on Shawn’s work towards competing this summer for the first time in 3 years!
