We had a chance to do an on course review for the GolfLogix GPS App.

First off it FREE, yes free. Money Mouth Second it is easy to download on your smartphone, we used it on our iPhone, it was easy to get it up and running quickly. A side note would be to do this prior to heading out to golf as there is a lot of data that is transferred and it can eat away at your battery life.  We used about 40% of our battery life by downloading and using the app over 18 holes plus we had a little business stuff being done during the round.

A couple of things we absolutely loved was the ability to track your stats,

didScreen Shot 2013-04-08 at 1.32.19 PM not think it would make much difference but after the fact I got a real sense of where my game was that day and what I needed to focus on for the next round. Wow, I really need to hit more greens in reg.

The graphics are fabulous and here is a screen shot from the round.  Very intuitive and easy to use.gl1

One thing we are sure of is that by using this smartphone GPS app you will improve your golf game and scores.

I usually don’t pay enough attention to the exact distances that I am from the pin and don’t always take into account where the pin is on the green or where the tee markers are on the tee box but just go with the yardage marker on a sprinkler head and on the score card. Using the GolfLogix app I focused my attention to the real distance and I was able to club myself properly. Not all of us have a full time caddy with a laser or that has walked and marked the course Wink

Get your free golf GPS App Here and enjoy lower scores.

Enjoy the video and let us know what you think about using lasers or GPS devices to help your golf game.

Stay golfing everyone.
