My Road to the LPGA!

Brittany Johnson Golf BellesHi everyone!   My name is Brittany Johnston and I am currently a professional playing on the LPGA Futures Tour.  

My quest over the next eleven months to is get my mental and physical game ready to compete in the LPGA qualifier this fall.  I have been playing professionally for the last two years and feel that this is my year to try for the big show.  I wanted to make sure I felt my game was as good as it could be before committing to q-school.  

Through this blog I will be sharing with you my trials and tribulations, successes and failures as I take the next steps of reaching my ultimate goals.  I will write about my tournament achievements and trying moments that made me think hard about continuing my life as a professional golfer.  

Hopefully I will share some helpful tips and through my experiences you will all learn things you can apply to your own life and golf games.  It takes a lot of dedication, passion, and sacrifice to live a life on the mini-tours.  But I believe through the experiences I have had and knowledge I have gained over the last two years, along with the opportunities I face this year, I will have what it takes to compete on the LPGA.  

Come with me on this journey and hopefully in late December this blog will have shown what a year is like chasing a dream and securing a LPGA card for 2012!
