LPGA Golfer Irene Cho Unites With Golf Belles Company
Golf Belles welcome Southern Californian, three time All American, LPGA professional golfer Irene Cho to their company’s team.
Phoenix, AZ, November 4, 2011 (PR.com, WorldGolfWire, FPR, PRLog, MyNewsDesk, 24/7PR, LPGA, Jags Report)– The Golf Belles company is proud to announce Irene Cho in her new role on the Golf Belles LPGA Advisory Board. The golf based marketing company continues to expand and is excited to create opportunities for gifted people to join the team; Cho will be a key to that growth. Cho will be working on international initiatives, bringing golf a fresh energy to new audiences.
Cho is no stranger to success with her golfing talents highlighting her as one of the country’s top amateurs on the AJGA placing 13 times inside the top 10. Whilst attending the University of Southern California she won nine collegiate tournaments, was a three time NCAA All-American, Honda Award Player of the Year, Pac-10 Player of the Year, received Medalist Honors, broke two records and was selected as a member of the US vs Japan Matches.
Graduating in 2006 with a Communications Major Cho turned professional late in the year and tied 10th at Q-school; earning her exempt status on the LPGA Tour. She began her professional rookie year in 2007 and proceeded to have two top ten finishes in 2008 one of which included tying for 6th place at the LPGA Championship. In 2009 Cho challenged the Bulle Rock course record by one shot with an unbelievable 65 stroke round and placed inside the top ten yet again in 2010. With almost US$500,000 in winnings since her rookie year Cho has proven herself time and again. Regrettably she had to take leave due to injury for the majority of the 2011 season and will return to competitive golf in early 2012 playing in Australia and Asia.
Cho’s desire to always make the most out of life turned this accomplished young lady whose gifts extend beyond professional golf into a well-rounded wholesome beauty, which radiates on and off the golf course and is profiled by the time she spends reading to the children of The First Tee program. “I am a huge believer in the fact that golf is what I do and not who I am; it does not define my life; so every day I try to grasp every moment and live life to the fullest; it’s very cliché but it’s something that I value” says Cho as she heads out to practice at PGA West in preparation for next year, “I am honored to be a part of the Golf Belles team; what attracted me to join the Golf Belles was an opportunity to show more sports fans that the face of a LPGA woman is attractive, marketable, and intelligent”.
“We are ecstatic that Irene has joined us in an LPGA advisory role and an opportunity shaping perspective. Golf Belles are currently involved in some very exciting activities and will soon launch some very innovative programs. Irene will assist us in assuring the needs of the market are addressed” states Golf Belles Founder and Chief, Susanita de Diego. Cho will be working closely with Golf Belles’ very own LPGA Futures Tour player Fiamma Felitch and former LPGA professional Kendra Vallone. More great stories will grace the net over the coming months as this team of young ladies takes Golf Belles to new heights.
